| rantnrave:// Our country has spoken on the 45th PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES... In the last 3 years I've experienced 3 of the saddest days of my life. This is one of them. A feeling of hopelessness and worry. Lost my mom. Lost my best friend. And lost my hope. I'm not that tough. Been through a lot. But there are only so many sadnesses, disappointments and foundational shifts a person can take... With the death of a loved one pain eventually turns to memories and stories. With the death of morality and decency, you lose your will. That's worse... No question there's pain, hurt, and worry in AMERICA. No one person to blame. All of us to blame. We don't seek debate. We seek solace in our own kind. Most don't know the issues or they cling to just one or two. I've never been a believer of winning being everything. How you win was always just as important to me. Maybe that's why I don't win all the time. I'm a white guy with money. Can't imagine how any so-called minority feels today. As a Jew, Trump's ad scared me. I just landed in NYC alone. The city seems silent with sleepwalkers. Just witnessed Trump supporters in the airport getting in people's faces and celebrating. "I'm here to piss on her doorstep." The worst of their kind, but certainly not indicative of all. WIsh I had my babies with me, you can always find comfort in the young... I've always held the office of POTUS in high esteem. Beyond the person sitting in it. Not sure I'll ever feel that way again. I hope I do. I hope I'm surprised. The tenets and decorum I held dear are broken. In an instant, I feel like a guest in my own country. Maybe how some from the other side felt for so long? I tried for humanity and decency. But I didn't prevail. But he is now our President. He claims to want to unite. It's my last ditch effort at hope. But maybe there is a hedge... I've known IVANKA TRUMP and JARED KUSHNER for a few years. Not well. But have been impressed by their kindness and intelligence. On more than one occasion they have been gracious with their time and advice. As I have been. And it's tough for family in these elections. No matter what we think, they have to endure family and personal attacks that I wouldn't wish for anyone. But knowing them a little, I had a good feeling. I've been very clear here on how I feel about President-Elect Trump's morality, ethics and decency during this campaign. I think that behavior will prove to have damaged our country for all a long time. That said, the majority of Americans voted for him. And we must support and hold him accountable now. I'm hoping that the kindness and decency I saw in Ivanka and Jared play a huge role in steering Trump away from the mean rhetoric. The actions without thought. To urge him to a place that all Americans will see as valuable. I'd like to win that bet. All of us would. It's not their responsibility, they weren't elected. But it is their duty. The Presidency isn't a prize, it's privilege. I hope it's treated as such. God bless America and all its races, colors and creeds... Right now, this country is divided. Almost two Americas... We live in a time of great wonder and great sadness. But unity, openess, and innovation could bring great abundance and happiness... God help us... Curioisity seems to save me time and again.
