The good work done by journalists on multiple platforms can get wiped out by the salacious nature of their parent publications' choices and rush to report. It may be time for an internal revolt by the journalists who champion truth against their own management or management structure. I don't know what the solution is. News shouldn't be entertainment, even if run by entertainment companies. It shouldn't be packaged or promoted that way. That issue alone is partly responsible for fake news being believed. I hope the big miss in this election woke some people up to do their jobs better and with integrity first. And pushed them to hold their bosses and colleagues to the same...
