I can’t fault myself. I played for a major-league team that happened to be in Denver. If that’s a problem and if that’s going to be an issue for them, then get rid of the team and move it elsewhere if it’s going to be that big of an issue. No needles went in my (butt). I played the game clean, but I played in the ballpark and it’s almost like Coors Field is my PED.

rantnrave:// If this is it for JAROMIR JAGR and the NHL, it's still too soon. That may an odd thing to say about a 45-year-old player who’s no longer productive. Jagr was a star for so long that he debuted with the MARIO LEMIEUX PENGUINS and goes out during the SIDNEY CROSBY PENGUINS dynasty. In his prime he wasn't too far off from being as good as those Penguins -- I'm not saying he's AS good so don't @ me. Jagr was a failed import with the CAPITALS. He made the RANGERS fun and good again. He was one of the few NHL players to go to RUSSIA and come back after a three-year sabbatical. Later in his career, Jagr was as enjoyable for his personality as his play. He was funny, sarcastic, ornery and interesting. His mullet remains legendary. But not as much as his ability to mix physicality and grace on the ice... The NCAA might be on the verge of making a revolutionary change. Student-athletes could get freedom of movement. The BIG 12 is pushing a rule change that would allow athletes to transfer without sitting out a year if their coach leaves their school. For the NCAA, this would be progress. Student-athletes wouldn't have absolute freedom -- only if their coach bolts. Coaches and ADs fear that giving athlete the right to transfer, no strings attached, would lead to chaos. The hypocrisy is rich. But small steps will lead to big changes. This is a start for student-athletes. Is it a matter of time until all the rules go away?... Can eSports compete with the NBA or NFL? The OVERWATCH LEAGUE, with teams in 12 cities worldwide, thinks it can. Can it live up to its own hype? SportsSET: "Is Overwatch League the Future of (e)Sports?" Oh no... Rubbing it in... We're through all the looking glasses... The state of our union... RIP KEVIN TOWERS.

Strip Clubs and CTE Talk: Inside Warren Sapp's World
by Tim Rohan
To spend time with Hall of Famer Warren Sapp is to veer between competing personas--the unapologetic partier who has faced accusations of sexual impropriety and violence, and the serious-minded spokesman for CTE awareness who sits on panels with Malcolm Gladwell and Dr. Ann McKie. How--or whether--those two sides can be reconciled, that’s a little hazy.

If You Stop Thinking Of Exercise As A Way To Lose Weight, You May Actually Enjoy It
by Katherine Hobson
For years, I thought of exercise in terms of calories in and calories out: Eat too much pizza on Saturday night, take an extra spin class. Skip an hourlong run, skip a bagel the next day. Train for a triathlon, eat whatever I want -- because, hey, wasn't I burning like a zillion calories a day?
