rantnrave:// Why not just admit it? Why wouldn’t LEBRON JAMES just say that he’s not staying at a TRUMP hotel during the CAVALIERS’ road trip to NEW YORK because of his distaste – or political disaffection – for the PRESIDENT-ELECT? Wouldn’t that be easier than playing semantical hopscotch as he is now by saying he asked to stay apart from the team because of a “personal preference”? "It would be the same if I went to a restaurant," he said, "and decided to eat chicken and not steak." James is one of the most influential people in the U.S. He has already cast a political statement this election by campaigning for HILLARY CLINTON. Instead of obfuscation, telling the truth, if it is why he’s not staying at the hotel, would not be any different… If NHL players don’t play in the next WINTER OLYMPICS, it certainly would be a loss for the sport. Maybe it’s the right decision because of legal logistics or as a bargaining chip in the next CBA, but it would be a net negative for hockey fans and for the NHL. The Olympics elevates hockey to a rare national stage and, hockey-wise, it’s some of the best action I’ve seen… SCOTT BORAS was right. MARVIN MILLER should be in the HALL OF FAME. That he’s not is electoral negligence by voters and the perfect example of the leeway and prestige that owners and commissioners get that labor does not in baseball. Miller is one of the most important people in MLB history… LINDA MCMAHON won the royal rumble to join the TRUMP administration… I would have gone with STEPHANIE.
