The Timeless Way of Coding - Design Patterns Course By Dr Heinz M. Kabutz I have been quiet of late. It is all the fault of a little insect that terrifies us here on Crete. No, not the mosquitos, although they can be a nuisance. I'm talking about the cicadas. They make a crazy racket, rendering audio recordings useless. So I've been on a death march project to finish producing my Java Design Patterns Course before their concert starts. Just in time. They are already gathering their crescendo outside. So where is this course and how can you get it? I will tell you in a moment. But first: note that this course is for intermediate to advanced Java programmers. It is not for complete beginners. I do not explain the difference between encapsulation and hierarchy. Nor between fish and motorbikes. We start off with some pretty advanced stuff. Ever heard of meronomy? It's the best explanation I've ever seen for composition vs aggregation vs association. We talk about how the JVM makes our Java code run so fast. Even when we have a lot of indirection because of patterns. The course is 99.9% complete. There is one exercise walkthrough that I need to re-record. As always, there is a chance that the course is not for you. In that case, please let us know within 30 days and we can reimburse you and cancel your enrollment. Other than that, if you join the course, you will have life-long access. We track each student's progress through the course, so sharing your login won't work. OK, now let's get down to basics. How can you enroll? In the beginning, it was only available through my Java Specialists Superpack 2018 or if you attend an in-house course. The price for the previous version of the patterns course, produced in 2011, was $720 (ex VAT). This new course has more patterns, better exercises, better quality recording, and is cheaper. Standalone, it costs only $525 (ex VAT). Have a look here: Java Design Patterns - The Timeless Way of Coding. But there is a better way for you to get the course. If you get it as a bundle with some other relevant courses, you can get far more training for a very good price. Here is our "Software Craftsman Pack". The price of $1300 (ex VAT) includes the new patterns course, data structures, bits & bytes, and a bunch of others. It is perfect for the good Java programmer who wants to become a lot better. IMPORTANT: I've hidden an "easter egg" on the Software Craftsman Pack sales page. If you look for the first colon (:) on the page and click on that, you will get a fantastic deal. I won't tell you what it is - you will have to look. You will find it worthwhile. This easter egg expires on the 30th of June, so don't delay. Get it today :-) Kind regards from Crete Heinz P.S.
