Jazz Fest, Day One: New Orleans has been putting on Jazz Fest for more than five decades, but the city's premier music festival still has a few tricks up its sleeve. The power of public records: Louisiana lawmakers are considering a bill pushed by Gov. Jeff Landry that would gut the state's public records law, shielding documents from citizens at all levels of government. Andrea Gallo has a look at what has been accomplished using the law threatened by the new bill.
Budget bill: The Louisiana House approved a $48 billion spending package that lets school districts decide how to distribute roughly $166 million for K-12 teacher bonuses, though it's less than what Gov. Jeff Landry proposed. James Finn has the details.
