Super Bowl Czar: The Super Bowl is coming to New Orleans in 2025, and Gov. Jeff Landry has tapped a well-known business leader to take the planning ball and run with it. One city officials calls the position “Super Bowl Czar,” Sophie Kasakove and Tony McAuley report.
Prime time Saints: Fall social planning can commence later today when the NFL finally releases this season's game schedule. Cussing in the court: A well-known Jefferson Parish judge spent some time before a judge this week, answering to misconduct charges stemming from his cuss-word-laden eruptions. Mall sale: Looks like it’s back to the drawing board for the Esplanade Mall in Kenner. A planned redevelopment of the former shopping hub fell through, so now the place is back on the market, Marie Fazio reports.
