Jeff Landry's first 90 days is a whirlwind of activity: 'I don't move slow'

Gov. Jeff Landry is moving faster to make changes and consolidate power than any Louisiana governor since, well, Huey Long.

Landry is seeking a rewrite of the state's constitution, moving to gain more control over various state boards, and attempting to sideline U.S. Rep. Garret Graves, a potential rival.

Staff writer Tyler Bridges takes a deep look into Landry's first three months in office.


Whatever else you do today, don't look up! If you must, at least put on a pair of special ISO certified-safe eclipse glasses. Today's eclipse is expected to reach 88 percent in the Baton Rouge area, but overcast skies may make the viewing a bit difficult. The eclipse is forecast to start here at 12:30 p.m., peak at 1:45 p.m. and end at 3:30 p.m.
