Good evening,

Good evening,

It’s week three of the annual blackout season, and companies and their advisers are spending plenty of time working on their once-a-year financial scorecard and pitch to investors.

Consensus among bankers and lawyers is that there will be a few deals with results, but the bigger action is likely to be in the few weeks when private equity acquirers have had a chance to incorporate FY21 into their models and the IPO season reopens.

In Street Talk tomorrow, we have a look at cobalt play Jervois Mining, which is trying to stitch together a big funding package, and reveal who bid for Rest’s stake in the SEA Gas pipeline in Victoria-South Australia.

We also take a look at a debt deal out of Morgan Stanley this week and have found AirTree’s latest investment.

Happy reading,
Anthony Macdonald and Yolanda Redrup
