On the volatility side, the firm provided these updates: -Deep Field Vol Arb lost 2.05% last month, but remains up 12.44% for the year. -Orion Algorithmic Trading Portfolio lost 3.44% last month but is still up 1.07% for the year. -Covenant Tactical lost 11.51% last month, bringing it to -4.22% for the year. It's very uncommon for all three to rise at the same time. In fact, Friday, June 7 was only the third time in the last 10 years when volatility (as measured by VIX Index) rose on the same day that the S&P 500 was up more than 1% and bonds (as measured by U.S. 30 Year futures) were up more than 0.5%.
