Body-in-bin arrest

Ascension Parish officials say they've arrested someone in connection with the discovery of a body in a plastic container this week. There aren't any formal accusations involving a death, but a man has been picked up and accused of unlawful disposal of a body. 

COVID prevention

A drug that targets the coronavirus in those who are immunocompromised is still sitting on shelves in Louisiana. Emily Woodruff reports that a lot of people who need the drug Evusheld aren't aware that it's available.

Columnist Scott Rabalais is borrowing from the theatre business to explain what's at stake this weekend for former LSU quarterback Joe Burrow. The best actors can claim the EGOT, or winning an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony. If the Cincinnati Bengals win the Super Bowl this weekend, he will become the first quarterback to have won a Heisman, a college national championship and a Super Bowl.
