The week's biggest real estate stories.
Joe Rogan has been mulling over moving his family and podcast to Texas for what feels like years. After inking a $100 million deal with Spotify, he finally did the deed and shelled out $14.4 million for a dreamy, recently remodeled Lake Austin mansion — party deck included, of course. Meanwhile, over on the West Coast, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen have upgraded to a 10,700-square-foot contemporary home in the mountains above Beverly Hills. The steel and glass extravaganza was built just this year and has six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, and is surely big enough to accommodate their fast-growing family.
In other news, recent parents Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are seeking a buyer for their glam Nolita condominium, movie exec Jon Mone swapped houses in Malibu, “RHOBH” star Teddi Mellencamp is moving out of the 90210 and into the Valley, Sprout Social CEO Justyn Howard purchased a $20 million Malibu compound, the Connecticut estate of the late Morley Safer is now on the market, Outfest executive director Damien Navarro is hoping to offload his Laurel Canyon micro-farm, supermodel-turned-actress Amber Valletta is catwalking out of her Pacific Palisades home, StubHub founder Eric Baker purchased yet another Beverly Hills manse for $39 million, talkshow host Dave Rubin sold his L.A. starter house, and “Vampire Diaries” creator Julie Plec is hoping to get $3.3 million for her Beverly Grove property.
