It's Tuesday and National Apricot Day, which is weird for January because apricots are most definitely not in season.

  • Current State Auditor John Dougall, who announced last week he would not be seeking reelection, has announced that he will instead be running for Congress, in the Third Congressional District. There are 10 Republicans in the race and one Democrat.

  • Is there something in the water? The race for Senate District 24, the seat currently held by Sen. Curt Bramble has another Republican legislator in the race. Rep. Keven Stratton has joined the race, along with former Rep. Brad Daw and former Sen. Dan Hemmert.
