February is known as the month of love – the month in which Valentine’s Day takes place. Options traders certainly got a lot of love last week, when the stock market saw its biggest crash since 2008.

Last week I told the JLN staff I expected by Wednesday or Thursday this week that FIA would cancel the Boca conference. They looked surprised.

The Futures Industry Association has cancelled its International Conference in Boca Raton, Florida scheduled to start next week out of “an abundance of caution.”
