Alexis McGill Johnson, who heads the national sexual and reproductive rights organization, was devastated, not surprisingly, by the U.S. Supreme Court ruling striking down the constitutional protection of abortion created nearly half a century ago by Roe v Wade. She and the organization, she shared, will continue to battle the inequities that may become even more glaring post-Roe.
