Is there a place on the Cockburn coast that holds a special place in your heart? A team of researchers at UWA is conducting a research study by asking residents to tell them about the Cockburn coast through a series of photography, paper collage, or textile creation workshops. No previous experience is required, and photographer Janine Sheen or artist Annick Akanni will provide friendly, professional guidance. Art materials and light refreshments will be provided. Workshops are free, and registration is essential. Workshops are 2-3 hours and will run at a location within the Cockburn area on the times/dates subsequently specified. No previous experience is required, and friendly, professional guidance will be provided by a local photographer or multi-media artist. All art materials and light refreshments will be provided. For the photography workshop, you will need a mobile phone with a camera or any other form of camera that you are comfortable operating yourself.
