This white paper was written by CDI industry experts promoting compliant standards related to the use of CDI technology and was peer reviewed by a larger audience of CDI industry experts.
The information included in this white paper includes the CDI technology landscape, defining a documentation integrity practice, how to access & evaluate compliant CDI technology vendors, policies and procedures, and the application of clinical technology in different healthcare settings. - Dr. Steven L. Griffin has more than 30 years of experience successfully developing and leading healthcare teams in various settings including acute care, home health, skilled nurse facilities, commercial insurance, a Medicare fiscal intermediary, and a healthcare consulting firm.
- Brian Murphy is the director of the Association of Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialists (ACDIS), a 6,800-member association headquartered in Middleton, Massachusetts, dedicated to the unique needs of the CDI profession.
- Dr. Christopher Petrilli is an assistant professor of medicine at the NYU School of Medicine where he serves as clinical lead of the Manhattan campus for value-based management and medical director for CDI for NYU Langone Health.
