| Hi there, it’s Ali Clarke here, How are we all doing? Even though it’s been a little all over the place, the weather is starting to warm up again (I promise) so it’s the perfect time to get into nature and discover some of SA's gorgeous walking trails as part of Walktober. This is an October walking initiative organised by Walking SA and that’s basically reminding you just how good we have it with the incredible tracks, scenery and options right around the State. If you’re looking for ideas, on Saturday October 11 at Pinky Flat, Walking SA are launching the Adelaide 100 - a loop walking trail of over 100km (wow!) that takes in the coast, waterways and Adelaide Hills. Sounds like the ultimate trail to check out these school holidays, so you had better believe I’ll be taking (and at times carrying the littlest) kids out for some fresh air and fun! So, I hope you dust off your sneakers, take in the peace and serenity of the great outdoors and get that deep breath we all need. I hope to see you out walking and if you do, please make sure you say hello! Ali x |

Four months ago, in the depths of the pandemic's initial salvo and as the AFL prepared for its restart, more than a few wondered what it was all for. The cynical but correct answer was money. Gil McLachlan made perfectly clear that for the league and its clubs to retain any sort of viable future, it was essential that some sort of season, no matter how bastardised, be completed. |
