Education for Empowerment and Opportunities!

This week is all about our Back-To-School program, so we are celebrating education and all of the opportunities it provides. Last year, 61 students graduated from the program and five female graduates were given scholarships to private school! Back-To-School will also start running in Johannesburg when the new Skate School opens next month. The program is growing!

By donating $10 a month you can become a Citizen of Skateistan and support education for youth empowerment!

Programs Essentials: Back-To-School

Back-To-School = students + school supplies (+ sports equipment for after class)

Back-To-School program is an accelerated learning program that prepares out of school youth to enrol in the public school system. Find out what some of our graduates think of it.

For the first time ever, we will be offering the program in South Africa but in a way that is tailored to the needs of local youth. We will be offering homework help and career advice at the new Dropping-In center at the Skate School. Educator Alan explains more.
