Klimbing For Kids 2018

Pastor Bill here,

Just getting a quick email out on something simply because it is a bit time sensitive, so I wanted to put this out to you all as soon as possible and if you’re going to be involved in this, it’s going to take some prep.

It’s hard to believe that this year marks 50 years of ministry for me as well as I will be turning 70 years old. (And, in case any of you were wondering, I’m not even thinking about slowing down)!  In fact, I see Mountains of Ministry opportunities ahead still, even at this age.

I will neither stop nor slow down. Period. For those who know me, you know why. Because there are still kids out there who are rejected, there are still ones who have been forgotten. Kids who may seem hopeless, but, it’s that they just don’t have any hope, you know what I’m talking about.

Although we have what seems like a mountain behind us with the over 253,000 who heard the story of Jesus through Operation Holiday Hope; the tens of thousands of first time decisions; including the thousands of children being fed through Metro World Child. But there’s more out there and you know we can’t do it alone.

So, for my 70th birthday I will be climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro. I know, I know, you’re reading this and you’re saying, “Pastor Bill, why on EARTH are you doing that?” I’m glad you asked.

Folks, there’s still a mountain ahead of us. Just like Caleb was claiming the mountain he’d been promised 40 years earlier when he was spying out the Promised Land, I believe there’s still a mountain out there for us to conquer, that’s been given to us.

Klimbing For Kids 2018

Folks, there’s still a mountain ahead of us. Just like Caleb was claiming the mountain he’d been promised 40 years earlier when he was spying out the Promised Land, I believe there’s still a mountain out there for us to conquer, that’s been given to us.

We will be “Klimbing for Kids” and aiming to raise $500,000 so we can continue to do what we’re doing. Are you up for the challenge?

I’m going to start the climb on October 3rd, the day before my birthday, so I will be climbing as I’m celebrating. Hopefully I’ll be climbing and celebrating: that’s the goal!

I will be taking some people to climb alongside me, people who will say, “We believe with you for these kids that nobody else will believe in.” As crazy as that may sound to some of you reading this right now, I’m looking for some people who are as crazy as I am for trying this, but who understand what’s at stake.

If you want to tag along and be a part of “Klimbing for Kids”, you better sign up soon – there’s  ONLY enough room for 50 CLIMBERS

Here’s the link with how to be involved and to sign up, (do it now). Keep checking back for more ways to be involved.

And with Caleb, let’s say:  “Lord, give me that mountain!”
