David Macri is the Chief Investment Officer with Australian Ethical Investment, Australia’s leading ethical investment manager.
David is responsible for ensuring the effective management of all investment aspects of the company. David has over 20 years’ experience in the investment industry with previous roles at Macquarie Securities, Credit Suisse Asset Management, Mellon and Mercer.

Jonathan Shead
Head of Investments, Australia
State Street Global Advisors

Jonathan is Head of Investments, Australia. In this role, he provides an Australian based investment voice for State Street Global Advisors with our Australian clients spanning the breadth of solutions that we offer. He also provides local oversight to the Australian investment team and is a member of Australian entity boards.

Prior to his current role, Jon was Head of Retirement Solutions, Australia and was responsible for leading the development of retirement thinking and investing in Australia.

Jonathan joined State Street Global Advisors, Australia, Limited in August 2000 and was a member of the Global Portfolio Strategy team from 2000 to 2018 covering both equities and currency and serving as the Head of Portfolio Strategists for the Asia Pacific region.

Jonathan was awarded a Bachelor of Economics degree by Macquarie University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia.

Louise Edkins

Louise Edkins is a joint director of Ethical Investment Advisers Pty Ltd, one of the largest AFSL’s specialising in Ethical Investment with 11 financial advisers across Australia.
She has been providing advice on ethical investment since 1994 and previously worked in financial market roles at Macquarie Bank, National Westminster UK.
Louise is Head of Investment Team and Engagement for Ethical Advisers Funds Management which manage 4 SMA’s including the Ethical Investment Mid Cap which has outperformed the All Ordinaries, across each year since inception 5 years ago and the Ethical Investment Growth and Income SMA’s that are Lonsec rated fund of funds.

Tom King

CIO
Nanuk Asset Management

Tom King (CIO) was involved in the formation of Nanuk in 2009 and is responsible for the management of the New World Fund. Tom has broad experience in equity funds management, investment banking and private equity. His was previously an investment manager at Consolidated Press Holdings Limited and prior to that held the position of Associate Director with NM Rothschild and Sons (Australia) Ltd where he was involved in a number of roles, primarily within Rothschild’s investment banking division. Tom has also worked as an equity investment analyst and as an industrial consultant. He holds a first class honours degree in Engineering from the University of Melbourne. Tom has also won an Olympic gold medal in sailing and has been awarded a medal of the Order of Australia.

Tony Adams
Head of Sustainable Investment Research
Lonsec

Tony joined Lonsec in March 2019 and is currently responsible for the responsible investment subsectors across various equity teams as well broad oversight of the assessment of ethical, ESG and impact capabilities across managers.

Prior to joining Lonsec, Tony has had 30 years’ experience in global fixed interest markets, most recently as Head of Global Fixed Interest and Credit at Colonial First State Global Asset Management, where he developed the firm’s global credit capability and oversaw the implementation of ESG across portfolios. Previous roles included Senior Portfolio Manager at Westpac Investment Management and Balance Sheet Manager at NSW Treasury Corporation.
