Featured title:

History Is Delicious, by Joshua Lurie
Take a journey around the world and learn about the history of different ingredients, dishes, cultural traditions, and more in this delicious children’s book by Honest History. What’s Ethiopian food taste like? Try it for yourself with fun and tasty recipes to make at home. What are five “must try” Korean dishes? We can tell you Korean BBQ is just the beginning. Each beautifully-illustrated page inspires kids to dive into the history of people and cultures to explore how food is so much more than something we eat. Learn about table settings from different countries, dining “Dos and Don’ts,” and discover the many different types of noodles unique to different regions. Let’s eat!

The Legend of the Dream Giants, by Dustin Hansen
Told through both text and wordless graphic novel-style illustration, this is the story of Berg who, after the death of his mother, is a lonely and misunderstood orphaned giant who tries to find a friend as he wanders from village to village looking for connection. In his dreams, Berg sees his mother, represented as a nurturing and protective white bear, comforting him and guiding him.
