In-Person Lunar New Year Family Day
Saturday, January 28, 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. ET

Join us in person for the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s annual Lunar New Year celebration! Enjoy performances, crafts, and more, featuring vibrant Chinese and Korean traditions. Learn about the importance of the Lunar New Year across cultures and welcome the Year of the Rabbit, represented in the Chinese zodiac. A special menu in honor of Lunar New Year will be offered by the Courtyard Café.

Visit SAAM’s online Lunar New Year Family Zone and find crafts, coloring pages, and videos of performances to enjoy the celebration with your loved ones at home.
