The Charity Series of Poker has announced a $400 buy-in no-limit hold’em tournament hosted inside View Nightclub at Palms that will benefit the Vegas Golden Knights Alumni Association. The Vegas Golden Knights Alumni Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to former NHL players with a focus on giving back to the community and growing the sport of hockey. They have identified three main areas to dedicate their efforts: first responders, under-served youth, and assistance for the under-nourished community. The poker tournament will start at 6:00 pm, and there will be a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, and a 50/50 cash draw preceding the tournament that begins when doors open at 4:30 pm. Anyone is welcome to attend the cocktail hour and silent auction for $100 without participating in the tournament. Starting stacks in the turbo tournament will be 10,000, with 20,000 chips per add-on available for $100. The grand prize is a $10,000 seat in the 2024 World Series of Poker main event. Attire for all of the evening’s events is business casual. A lot of other final table and bounty prizes will be available as well.
