Manage your workforces risk of musculoskeletal disorders and whole-body vibration from driving 25 September 2023 at 10:30am Drivers and passengers of some mobile machines, including certain boats, tractors, fork lift trucks and quarrying or earth-moving machinery, may be exposed to whole-body vibration and shocks, which are associated with back pain. This hour-long webinar will feature experts from HSE and National Highways who will highlight current guidance, introduce the HSE Back Injury Risk in Drivers (BIRD) tool and explain the ergonomic principles that help protect workers that drive. The webinar is free to attend and is aimed at fleet managers, health and safety managers and employers who need to effectively manage the risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) and whole-body vibration from driving in their workforce. |
