• S3 Object Archive: an upcoming feature in P5 version 7.2 facilitating workflows for integration partners, such as MAM/DAM/PAM vendors
• P5 Archive as Mini-MAM: basic media asset management for long-term archive with simple file retrieval
• Archiware P5 and DataIntell integration: allows the streamlining of workflows with comprehensive storage analytics and long-term archive

Discover Upcoming Features of P5 Version 7.2

An upcoming feature in Archiware P5 version 7.2 is the S3 Object Archive, which mainly caters towards data management integration partners and MAM/DAM/PAM vendors. This feature provides an extremely easy way to integrate with P5 Archive using S3 to archive files. Therein, P5 Archive acts as an S3 server, facilitating the archiving of files (to disk, LTO/LTFS and Cloud). This feature is platform-independent and comes at no additional license or integration cost.

See the Archiware P5 Data Mover

The P5 Data Mover is an extension for the P5 Archive module for future-proof archive and flexible storage strategy. It offers policy-based moving and copying of archived data between tape, cloud and disk storage.

This new tiered storage concept allows data to be placed on different storage media according to its value, reuse and costs incurred. Data can easily be migrated or copied between storage tiers. A migration plan runs periodically and selects data according to a predefined age.

DataIntell is a powerful companion to Archiware P5. Where P5 takes care of the backup, replication and archive to protect all files, DataIntell offers automatic monitoring over the complete storage landscape.
