No Images? Click here Hello, John! It's been several weeks since you began receiving emails from Richard Rohr and the Center for Action and Contemplation. We hope you're finding ways of bringing contemplative practice into your daily routine. Only from a deep connection with love can we have the courage and wisdom to act with compassion. (If you haven't yet watched Fr. Richard’s short video on contemplation from our welcome email, click here.) Some of our staff members and friends from the community gather every weekday morning to meditate in silence together. We invite you to join us in spirit at 8:30 a.m. U.S. Mountain Time, or whenever you're able. For those of us who work at CAC, this isn't just a job, but a way of being the peace we wish to see in the world. Our faculty’s teachings have impacted many of us deeply. Visit store.cac.org to browse a wide selection of books, CDs and DVDs, and MP3 audio and MP4 video downloads. This is our last special "Welcome" email introducing you to the CAC. We hope you'll continue to read our regular emails for additional resources to support your spiritual journey. Remember that you can update your email preferences at any time and choose to receive more or fewer (Daily, Weekly, or Monthly) emails from us. Simply click one of the links at the bottom of any CAC email and follow the prompts. Peace, Ben Keesey A collision of opposites forms the cross of Christ. |
