Where else can you arrive at a bustling courtyard to mingle with friends, be transported by artwork from around the world, and let your creativity find an outlet—all for free? Only at Harvard Art Museums at Night!

This month’s gathering is extra special because we’ll be celebrating the opening of our exhibition From the Andes to the Caribbean: American Art from the Spanish Empire with exhibition tours and other related activities. Visit the Materials Lab to relax and ponder over cacao and gold: two materials extracted from the Americas. Explore the history and tastes of cacao with conversation prompts and a Taza chocolatier, and have fun stenciling a card with golden motifs inspired by a work from the exhibition. In the courtyard, relax with a beer from the featured local vendor Aeronaut Brewing Company, or try some delicious island cuisine from Somerville’s Pikliz International Kitchen.

Also be sure to check out our other exhibition, A World Within Reach: Greek and Roman Art from the Loeb Collection on Level 3, as well as the newly opened public art installation Bosco Sodi: Origen on Level 1 and on the outside terrace.
