Dear reader,
I love being in the kitchen on Christmas Day, preparing the day’s meal while family and friends wander in and out. That said, I am well aware that this is not everyone’s idea of fun. Some may prefer gracing their festive tables with dishes that include plenty of make-ahead elements, helping to take the stress out of entertaining. How do you get into the festive spirit? Do you mark the arrival of the season with less conventional flavours?
On Thursday 5 December, join me, with fellow Feast writers Rachel Roddy and Benjamina Ebuehi, and the Guardian’s restaurant critic and Comfort Eating podcast host, Grace Dent, for an evening of festive cheer and foody mirth.
Live at the Shaw Theatre in London, we'll unwrap our favourite Christmas memories, traditions and recipes, and ask you to share yours. And, to ramp up the spirit, you’ll get to enjoy a festive drink upon arrival and a special goodybag to take home – with items curated especially for you by the Feast team.
