We’re in full planning mode for our annual banquet on Tuesday April 29th. This is our largest single fundraising event of the year, and also one of the greatest avenues for introducing new partners to the ministry. It is a great night of celebration, inspiration, food and fellowship as we share about the ministry of The Joy House and lives the Lord is changing.
We continue to see the negative impact of family trauma and the breakdown of the family in the lives of those we serve. This weighs heavy on our hearts and has increased our desire to strengthen families as a solution to prevent this brokenness. With this in mind, we’ve chose “Hope for the Home” as our theme for this year’s banquet. We want to continue being an instrument in Christ’s hand in strengthening families and experiencing “Hope for the Home.”
Critical to the success of our banquet are our ministry partners who serve as table hosts. A table host simply commits to inviting and filling one or more tables with eight guests. There is NO COST to host a table. We’re looking for some existing partners such as yourself who would serve as table hosts this year. If you simply would like to attend this year’s banquet you can register for the banquet here. There is no cost to attend. Near the end of the evening we present an opportunity for all of our guests to give as they are led by the Lord. We will again be returning to beautiful SharpTop Cove, our local YoungLife camp, for this year’s banquet. The date and time information are shared in the invitation at the top of the email.
