| I wanted to give you an update in regard to our search for house parents. As we shared in September our former boy’s house parents were making plans to transitioned out of the ministry and we temporarily closed the boy’s home for the last couple of months of this year while we did some maintenance and sought new boy’s house parents.
There have been some new developments. We are continuing to get a higher volume of calls from girl’s families seeking help. Our current girl’s home is essentially full, and we have girl’s families we’ve already interviewed that are waiting for a spot. With that being said we are shifting our focus to open our boy’s home temporarily as a girl’s home so we can meet this need. When construction is completed on our new girl’s home, we will relocate the girls there and reopen the boy’s home. This seems to be the wisest course of action based on the need we’re experiencing. We are launching a search for house parents for our second girl's home. This is an immediate need. As soon as we can identify the right couple, we’ll open a second girl’s home to serve these teen girls in need. Please join us in praying for and sharing this need.
