We’ve had a tremendous response from both players and sponsors for this year’s Jammin for Joy pickleball tourney. We’ve already exceeded 120 registrations. We will soon reach our capacity of 140 to 150. All of our high-level sponsorships, except one, have been fulfilled. We’re going to have two great days of fun, competitive play, great fellowship, and good food. We can’t wait to welcome all of our guests to Bent Tree. Here are some ways to consider how you can be involved. Playing – If you are a pickleball player, have you considered playing? If so you need to register ASAP. High-Level Sponsor – We still need a Cooling Tool sponsor. This sponsorship is $1250. You will get your company logo on a cooling tool which will be in every players bag. Additionally we’ll promote you on our social media channels. Our Facebook page has 3500 followers. We’ll also give you verbal recognition at the tourney. Door Prizes – We’re still collecting door prizes to share with our players. This is a way your company can gain recognition and possible new patrons. We’ll have players coming from all over North Georgia. Court Sponsorship – A sign with your logo will be placed on one of our eight courts(see picture for example). Additionally we will promote you on our social media channels. The cost is $250. There are an unlimited number of these available. If you have interest in being a sponsor please reach out to Steve via email: steve@thejoyhouse.org. If you would like to donate a door prize please reach out to Maralie via email: marailie@thejoyhouse.org. Through the partnerships of all our players, sponsors, and other community partners you’ll be making a difference in the lives of those we serve. We are able to offer all of our services in both our teen-residential program and community counseling center based on ability-to-pay. We can only do this because of our great partners. Please be praying for all the details and organization and for the event itself as we move closer. |

When Eden first arrived as a resident of the Joy house she carried with her more than the baggage containing her personal items. Eden arrived weighed down with guilt, anger, anxiety, and depression. However, in just a short time we have witnessed Eden’s load become lighter and replaced with the freedom of Christ’s work in her life. Eden is hilarious, athletic, intelligent, hardworking, and wise beyond her years; it has truly been a joy to watch her transform before our eyes into a new creation in Christ Jesus. We are so excited for her future as she has reunited with her family and now has hope for what is to come. Though we will miss her, we know that this time at the Joy house has been an absolute success for Eden and her family. We are honored to celebrate this precious young lady for her hard work in school and the work she has put in to restoring relationships. Please join us in praying for Eden as she moves into this new season of her life. We expect nothing but success from this young woman. When we think of Eden and her time at the Joy house, we will always think of Psalm 30:11 “You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy,” We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to know, encourage, and love Eden as her house parents. |

We are currently seeking a married couple for a full-time house-parenting position in our boy’s home. With the building project getting closer to completion we are excited to take this next step. No prior experience is needed, as training will be provided. Must be a mature Christian couple that has a strong desire to share Christ’s love with the teens and their families. Applicants must be married at least 3 years with no more than 2 children of their own. While modeling a Christian family, we ask the house-parents to provide care, nurturing, and structure for up to seven teen boys. They are supported by a five-person treatment team all focused on helping one another serve the teen and family in need. |
