On Monday, in a statement shared on Instagram, Molemo 'Jub Jub' Maarohany apologised "unreservedly" for making lewd comments about TV personality Amanda du Pont on a recent episode of  Podcast and Chill with MacG (Macgyver Mukwevho).
 

"It was inappropriate for me to discuss the intimate details of my relationship with MS du Pont in public. I deeply regret the incident, [sic]" he said.
 

The Uyajola 9/9 host apologised for the "humiliation and hurt" he caused the Skeem Saam actor and the inappropriate language he used during the interview, which premiered on Channel O on Wednesday.

In an Instagram post, TV personality Amanda du Pont said she is "completely" overwhelmed with love and support after going public with rape allegations against musician Molemo 'Jub Jub' Maarohany.

The Deputy Mayor of Jerusalem, Fleur Hassan-Nahoum, thanked Miss Universe South Africa, Lalela Mswane, for her bravery and "speaking truth to power".

BTS will take their first "extended period of rest" since 2019.
