A lawsuit against food-delivery service Grubhub has been dismissed after a judge declared a former driver an independent contractor, not an employee. The driver alleged Grubhub had acted as an employer and therefore owed him benefits, but the judge ruled Grubhub had satisfied conditions of a contract.
