ハイテク産業分野で世界的シェアを持つリード。設立50周年を記念するために制作された福島工場の作品の「最新」というテーマは、福島工場として「常に未来を見据え、成長していく」という思いを大切にしたいことから生まれました。TokyoDexは福島工場の全メンバーが参加するワークショップを開催し、アートモチーフへのアイデアを膨らませました。アーティストの髙橋憲助は “いきなり全く新しいものが生まれるのではなく過去からの積み重ねによって今があり、未来へと続いていく“という思いを受け、リード製品や地域の植物を組み合わせ、再生を繰り返し蘇る「不死鳥」を描き上げました。

Created as a monument to commemorate a global tech company, READ’s 50th anniversary, this artwork embodies the theme of “Innovation,” born from the desire of the Fukushima factory to always look towards the future and continue growing. TokyoDex organized a workshop involving all members of the Fukushima factory to expand ideas for art motifs. The resulting artwork was created by Kensuke Takahashi. Inspired by the belief that the present exists and continues into the future through the accumulation of the past, the artwork depicts the recurring rebirth of a “Phoenix.” Combining READ products and local flora, it symbolizes regeneration and resilience.
