Last Maker Day | New Summer Hours | Keep Repair Cafés in Ottawa Alive | Knife Sharpening Demo

Last Maker Day this Sunday

Our grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation is coming to an end and July 8th will be our final Maker Day for the time being. This is your last chance to create your DIY project at the tool library. Use our workbenches and tools, and have the opportunity to ask for advice from a tool ninja.

We've hired a summer student!

Get your DIY on! We are extending our hours for the summer.

Monday 3pm - 9pm
Wednesday 6pm - 9pm
Saturday 10am - 3pm

Our next Repair Café

We're excited to be taking part in Overbrook Day on August 18th for our last Repair Café funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
You can bring your household items and learn how to repair them, as well as take part in the activities and events at this great family friendly community gathering.

Would YOU like to see Repair Cafés continue?

We're sad to see the end of our very successful Repair Cafés and would love to continue them. If you have creative ideas for sponsorship or other forms of funding to keep the Repair Café experience alive, please get in touch to discuss.

Knife Sharpening Demo Night on July 30th

Learn how to sharpen blades of all kinds, including knives, scissors, and garden tools. Bring in a blade you want to sharpen, learn about different sharpening techniques and tools, and try your hand at sharpening.

Group demo with time for hands on practice. Please bring only one item to sharpen to give everyone a chance to learn.
