Dear Yogi,

Though June was likely named for the Roman goddess Juno – patroness of marriage and the wellbeing of women – the sixth month of the year is also International Men’s Month (as well as Accordion Awareness Month and Papaya Month)...

Perhaps of more yogic relevance (!), June 21st marks the Summer Solstice, giving the Northern Hemisphere its longest day and the Southern Hemisphere its shortest – and yogis around the world unite to celebrate International Yoga Day!

This year’s theme – ‘Yoga for Humanity’ – invokes a kindred sense of unity, and indicates the importance of wellbeing for all. Check out our classes and articles below to inspire your jump into June!
