You're invited to the Jackson County Democrats summer fundraiser "Wine in the Garden" on July 29th!

Join the Jackson County Democrats for our summer fundraiser "Wine in the Garden" on July 29th!

"Wine in the Garden" is returning this summer as an in person event and we couldn't be more excited to meet with our supporters after so many months of social distancing.  Please plan to join us on Thursday, July 29th, 2021 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at RoxyAnn Winery in Medford.

The Shine Trio will treat us to jazz, Latin and even some Grateful Dead tunes.  Oregon State Treasurer Tobias Read is coming down to the Rogue Valley for this event and will share his insight on the challenges facing us and the road to building back a better Oregon.  We also hope to hear from some other Democratic leaders to get an update on what's been happening in our state capital. (Additional speakers to be announced in the coming weeks.)

Wine in the Garden is a popular event, so get your tickets as soon as possible!

Your ticket includes your first glass of wine, hor d'oeuvres and a chance to win a some wonderful raffle prizes.  If you're unable to attend, please consider making a donation to the local party, as this is one of our major fundraisers of the year.

Southern Oregon Juneteenth Celebration

Join BASE and B.E.S.T. on June 19th from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm for Southern Oregon's 2021 JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION at Pear Blossom Park (commonly known as “The Commons”) in downtown Medford (312 E 4th St, Medford).

At this year's Juneteenth celebration, we'll be promoting and supporting our local Black-owned businesses' growth while also highlighting organizations supportive and interested in furthering their focus on cultural agility, equity, and inclusive service delivery.

We've got a great lineup of food trucks, vendors, and info booths from across the Valley. There will be games and activities for all ages to enjoy while you listen to jams from Blahq Sage and live music from the Bishop Mayfield Band plus a special West African drum performance. The day will be family-friendly!

Join the JCD Central Committee: Become a PCP!

A lot is at stake for Jackson County! The more people who volunteer with our party, the better our community becomes!

All Democratic Party Precinct Committee Persons (PCPs) in Jackson County belong to the Central Committee, which is the governing body of the Democratic Party of Jackson County. As a PCP, you have a voice and vote in the local party when we make decisions that affect your community.

As a PCP, you are the party’s grassroots, representing your neighbors. For every 500 registered voters in a precinct, there can be one precinct person of each gender (male, female, non-binary).

What are the prerequisites for becoming a PCP?

How do I become a PCP?
