ICD-10-CM codes for osteoarthritis (OA) of spine are found in code category M47.- (spondylosis). OA of the spine causing weakness, spasticity, clumsiness, and altered tonus but generally no pain may be reported using a code from subcategory M47.1- (other spondylosis with myelopathy). OA of the spine causing pain, numbness, and weakness may be reported using a code from subcategory M47.2- (other spondylosis with radiculopathy).
