SelectCoder Tip of the Week

When reporting an ICD-10-CM code from category M08.04- (unspecified juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, hand) remember that pauciarticular juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, also called oligoarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis, affects five or fewer joints and is assymetric, so these codes require site and laterality.
