Tardive dyskinesia due to use of medications, also referred to as lingual-facial-buccal dyskinesia, which presents as uncontrollable movements of the mouth, tongue, jaw, and cheeks, should be coded using G24.01 (drug-induced subacute dyskinesia) followed by the appropriate code to identify the drug causing the dyskinesia.
