Parkinsonism disorders are representative of multiple primary and secondary disorders that result in Parkinsonian traits, but not all patients with Parkinsonism disorders have Parkinson's disease. Only when the physician specifies Parkinson's disease should ICD-10-CM code G20 (Parkinson's disease) be reported. Do not assign G20 for a patient with a Parkinsonism disorder.
