The sheer observing power of the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope is rarely better illustrated than in an image such as this. This glowing pink nebula, named NGC 248, is located in the Small Magellanic Cloud, just under 200 000 light-years away and yet can still be seen in great detail.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
+ CHEOPS SCIENCE WORKSHOP AND OPEN TIME WORKSHOPS
Registration has opened for two CHEOPS workshops that will be held at Schloss Seggau, near Leibnitz in southern Austria at the end of July 2017, with the objective of bringing together the community interested in the mission and its scientific exploitation. The deadline for registration for both workshops is 1 July 2017.
