Kanye West has officially filed paperwork to change his name.
 

The rapper, who recently enjoyed a lunch date with ex-wife Kim Kardashian, will now go by "Ye", court documents obtained by People reveal, since changing his name from Kanye Omari West.
 

Kanye first announced his plans to change his name in 2018, after the release of his eighth studio album Ye.
