A note from Karin Slaughter
I'm so pleased to tell you about my new novel, We Are All Guilty Here, which publishes this summer. It's a book that matters a great deal to me in part because it marks 25 years since my first novel, but also because it's a completely fresh start. It’s a novel that begins a new series, and has felt like a real creative “reset” as well as–I hope–an entry point for new readers.
In the course of starting a new series, I've thought a lot about what inspires me–and in many ways that's taken me back to the basics that inspired me to write in the first place: creating a group of interconnected characters in a small-town community all going through something transformational. I've loved writing this book and creating new characters I hope readers will care about as much as I do. I really hope you enjoy it.
