Kate Middleton is receiving preventative chemotherapy. Here’s what that is

Kate Middleton revealed in a video released by Kensington Palace today that she has been diagnosed with cancer. Although she did not disclose the type or stage of cancer, the Princess of Wales said it was discovered after she underwent abdominal surgery in January, and she has since begun "preventative chemotherapy."
