Kate Robinson's passion for art started at a young age and continued to grow over the years. In high school she was inducted into the National Art Honor's Society. Kate would get lost in her art when she was in art classes growing up. During her teen years, she most enjoyed charcoal sketches of still pieces or models.
Even though Kate started her career as a school teacher and then changed fields to spend over 10 years in Healthcare Sales as a business woman, she never lost her love for art. In fact, art had found her many times throughout her careers. She would use it as her creative outlet and once again get lost in it.
Kate revived her passion in art and became self taught in specifically abstract paintings. Her mediums of choice are acrylic, oil, or mixed media on canvas. She moved from the Mountains of Lynchburg, Virginia area to the coast of the Wilmington, North Carolina area in 2018, where she currently resides.
Kate's passion is with interior design in mind, which gives life and unity to the room and a focal point of conversation for the future home or office space. Her focus is on the colors, feeling, and the overall emotion of each piece. Kate's ultimate goal is for a client to "find" the piece that draws them in as the finishing decor element that brings the whole room together and that they can't live without.
