PLUS: School's Out Summer Camps are available.
| | | | Message from Mike Norman, CEO | | The team at Kentucky Science Center is so excited to welcome our members back this weekend. Many of you have already reserved your tickets for admission. Due to limited capacity, all guests will be required to make reservations in advance. | | | In addition to limiting the number of people in the center, we’ve made modifications to exhibits to help keep everyone safe and healthy. We are also asking you to do your part by wearing a mask. Masks are required for guests 12 years of age and older, and strongly encouraged for guests ages 6-11 years of age. Our fiscal year is coming to a close on June 30th. This last quarter has been quite the adventure. In true KSC spirit, we will still celebrate and push forward as we tinker and try new ways to continue serving the families across our region by delivering quality science education and fun! | To thank you for your patience and continued support, we have extended all memberships for the duration of time we were closed. Members should have received an email last week with details on your membership extension. Contact Josh Poole, Membership Manager, with any questions. KSC is a non-profit, mission focused organization. Membership support, private and public donations, and corporate partners have allowed us to sustain for nearly 150 years. We consider ourselves part of your family and have seen generations of families make memories in the name of science. This year has been tough on so many, including graduating seniors and college students. Our partners at Park Community Credit Union want to share available scholarship opportunities with our members. Learn more about Park’s Community Initiative Nspire to apply. Thank you to all of the families who have entrusted your children to us for an amazing first two weeks of camps! We have had an amazing time together and the feedback from the children and caregivers has been phenomenal. It’s not too late to register your young scientist! Have a wonderful week and we will see you this weekend! | | | Kentucky Science Center is reopening! | | The COVID-19 Pandemic is hard on everyone, and we thank you for your patience while we finalized our plans to keep our staff, members, and guests safe. We hope to expand on this in the near future. Due to limited capacity, all guests will be required to make reservations in advance. If you run into any issues when trying to reserve tickets, please email us. We are also excited to premiere Turtle Odyssey in our four-story Digital Theater. Tickets should be purchased in advance and are discounted to $5 for our members on July 4 & 5.
