Maurice Broaddus, young adult and science fiction author, teacher, and community organizer, will give the closing keynote at this year's Achieving Together event.

12:30 - 1:15 PM: Optional Tour of Indianapolis Public Library’s Central Library
A guided walking tour of the six-story Central Library including notable art and architectural features will be provided by the Area Resource Manager of Central Library, Mike Williams. Highlights feature the historic Paul Cret designed building opened in 1917 and described by Architectural Forum as “…the most beautiful secular building in the United States, if not the most beautiful secular building produced in modern times.” The tour group will also enjoy the sweeping views of the Indianapolis skyline from the Evans Woollen designed expansion opened in 2007.
