It’s never easy to break out of prison — but if you’re not human, you might have the upper hand. A cat seized off the streets of Sri Lanka made a daring escape after he was arrested for smuggling baggies of heroin and SIM cards. The cat, who appeared to be trained to deliver the drugs, was somehow able to slip out of a high-security prison without any wardens or guards noticing what was happening. 

As strange as this sounds, it’s not as hard to imagine as you might think. Cats lack a collarbone, and can easily fit through tight spaces like cracks in a wall or open doors. The only way it would have been easier is if the cat had wings — like the other drug-smuggling animal caught by Sri Lankan police. Yes, you heard that right: They captured an eagle with drugs taped to his feet. That’s life in the big city, for you! Cats aren’t just loveable pets and drug lords, by the way. Sometimes they serve on submarines during combat.
